I'm back
Wow....what a weekend!
You may have seen on FB our wonderful 4th of July. lol
To make a looong story short, my IL's roof caught on fire from a bottle rocket while we were gone. My dog was inside. We were at DH's uncles house when we got the call.
The house is fine although there is a huge hole in the roof leading into the attic and my poor dog is ok too.
I've never been so scared in my LIFE!!!! It could have turned out VERY badly according to the firefighters. If it weren't for the neighbors who got on the roof and helped put the fire out, the house and my dog could have been lost.
I was def. thanking God for a lot of things that night! It put a lot of things into perspective.

I am so glad you are back and i said out loud OMG not oh my gosh but literally OMG when i saw that status update! poor Dex and I am glad to hear it all turned out ok and that the neighbors where their to help.
OMG that is so sad!!! Losing your house is bad enough but to also lose your dog. I can't even imagine!! Just awful!!!
I will never leave my Dexter on 4th of July again!

That is good thay he wasn't even scared.... Daphanie will hide under my parents bed... i feel so bad for her.
Yeah, Dexter wasn't bothered by them until after the incident. Poor little guy. We were sitting outside watching them and he was freaking out so we had to go inside.
