Anyone still watching World Cup?
I was so happy with the outcome of today's game. Normally I would root for Germany but Spain has never made it to the finals and it was certainly their time. Not sure if I will watch the Germany vs Uruguay game but Viva Espana!

I'm still watching it. But I am definitely not happy with the game today lol.
IDK, I feel like it would have been great for them to make it to the final...their starting goalie for the national team freaking killed himself not even 8 months ago. The goal that replaced him is 20, and one of the best keeps of this cup, by far. The team is all young (most under 25), plus they play like a team. many of them give up perfectly good shots to pass off to someone else who has an even better shot. It is very rare for a team to play like that these days.
Oh well....they can still get third place which is pretty remarkable for thier circumstances.
I was not able to watch the game, but I am happy that Spain made it, I honestly did not care either way

True, but being a young team they could easily come back in 4 years and be a force to reckon with as well.
I hadn't heard about this so I had to look it up. The crazy things people will do to predict a game!

I live in NL with my Dutch husband. The Dutchmen have some of the most fun and contagious team spirit. It's a blast. We'll be glued to our tv Sunday. Let's go Team Orange!
The octopus has only been predicting the outcome of the Germany matches. He could be way off for the final. This is, after all, the first non-German match he's predicted.
In answer to OP: I'll watch the final under protest but will probably be pulling for the Dutch.
