More SoCal Earthquakes!
You know it's a sign you need to move (out of your apartment, not out of San Diego) when a 5.4 earthquake hits out in the desert and when you start to feel it in your apartment, your immediate reaction is "UGH! I hate my stupid upstairs neighbors! Why are they always SO FRIGGIN' LOUD!??! Now they're making my roof and walls shake! And...oh, wait, maybe it's an earthquake..."
Needless to say, I'm totally fine. I appear to be in the minority who actually prefers a lot of frequent small quakes (because, according to my high school science teacher, that actually makes it LESS likely for a "big quake" to hit the area since the pressure doesn't have as much time to build up since it's slowly/periodically released in these smaller quakes...). Personally, I totally don't understand how you other people live with hurricanes or tornados. I'm so much more freaked out by those...
Re: Shake, shake, shake...
shake yo booty!
Is it weird I kind of want to experience a (relatively safe-ish) earthquake?

Not at all. They're a totally weird experience. Well, if you're new to them. I'm kinda over it now. *sigh* But a friend of mine LOVES them because, really, it is kinda cool. We actually get to feel the Earth move and change. In the grand scheme of things, that's pretty awesome.
Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Hurrianes... those all terrify me!
Snowstorms I can handle (as much as I dislike them).
