As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Another Lake George question - Hotel or cottage rec?
Because of the heat, we decided against camping with the kids this weekend. I am looking at either a hotel or a cottage type place. There are SO MANY! Anyone recommend a good place for two kids? Doesn't have to be in town, but a pool, beach access and/or playground are all pluses! THANKS

I'm not sure if it HAS to be Lake George, but Glen Lake is about 10 minutes away and a smaller lake for safer swimming. There are many places for rent (though they can be a bit pricey) but I'd call bc they might give a "last minute" deal if they aren't booked already. Just google "glen lake ny rentals" and there should be a handful.
IMO, it's much cleaner and safer to swim/canoe in bc there aren't the huge boats that pose a danger.
