Blackberry users a ?

Whenever I receive a voice mail message, I also receive an SMS text message saying '1 NEW VMIAL 0 URG 0 FAX *86'.  Is there any way to turn this feature off?  I already get a new voice mail message alert so I find also getting the SMS alert annoying.  I have Verizon and when I called they told me they turned it off for me but it is not off.

Thanks!

Re: Blackberry users a ?

  • That's a provider based message, so I'd call Verizon again.

  • I would call and ask to make sure they rerouted your messages back to the original access number also. I have Tmobile and had this issue when I downloaded an application that texts/emails VM. I deleted the app but was still getting the messages, and the access number had been changed.
