Today on my lunch MIL asked if I would go to the town over and pick her up she was having some work done on her car. It takes 30 minutes to get over there and I got there early so while I was waiting on her I went to Office Depot. I honestly think I could have spent  hours and tons of money in there. I was thinking of all the possibilities for my office...colored hanging folders...LOVE....colored folders...LOVE...lots and lots of pens.

I came back and told my boss and he said I was getting old and I was a nerd.

Hahaha....don't feel too bad.  Someone posted on another board that there's a "teacher's sale" at Staples, where teachers can spend $5 on something and then things like pens, pencils, folders, etc are just a penny.  I don't need things like that with my current job, but I started trying to figure out reasons why I might need them, and wondering how I'd prove that I'm a teacher (since I don't have a teacher's ID anymore).

LOL!  I remember raiding the supply closet at work...trying to get there first to get the "good" stuff.  AKA- pretty  I took all my supplies with me when I left hahahahaaaa!!!!

i don't think you're a nerd! and i don't think age has much to do with it. i have LOVED office supplies my whole life   school supply season is my favorite

haha lauren i use to never like going school supply shopping bc that meant school was right around the corner. but once we got there i wanted to have the prettiest binders and notebooks. i loved it when they started printing notebooks with circles and lines and it bright pretty colors.

i LOVED when school time came around. mostly just for the school supplies.

i would organize my 'coloring box' w/ all my little supplies in it like a million times. of course by week 2 all my crayons were broken and it looked a mess.

New office supplies are the best!! And I used to loooove school supply shopping!
