Re: Miami It Is
I think it was the right decision for him, he was never going to win a championship in Cleveland.
I do feel bad for Cleveland tho. The browns and the Indians are laughable, the Cavs were all they had!
Predictable. Did he really need an hour on ESPN to tell us this?
And it was so uneventful. I liked how the interviewer had to say something like, so the decision you made this morning is you are going to Miami. I guess I expected more. lol. . .

Gilbert is looking a bit amatuerish there with his "open letter". NBA basketball is a business and as an owner he should know that better than anyone else. Can you imagine if your last boss posted a public letter calling you names when you left your last job? Only in pro-sports do we fans put such emotion to the business/personnel side of things.
I don't blame LeBron for going to Miami. They will definitely be a contender next year. Cleveland was not going to get him the supporting cast he needed to win.
It makes me sad that he left - but I saw it coming. The whole spectacle around it was ridiculous and uncalled for...and a big slap in the face for Cleveland. They found out with the rest of the world, and he hasn't even talked to the org since (I don't think).
We won't go there about how I think he's now shopping around for a championship.
