CR Sparks closing!

This is a MAJOR bummer. I love it there. I can't believe they are closing down. They will be open until the end of 2008. I need to get there before a few times hopefully.

What a bummer.  I have had some great nights there - and my friend got married there!

I had heard this, but for some reason I thought that they already WERE closed......good to know!

They are still open, I work right next door from them.  I think they are open until the end of the year, we are having our holiday party there this year and as far as I know we are still having it there.  They are going to put a high-end car dealership where Sparks is now.  Somehow I don't see a car dealership doing good business at that site.  Also, I don't know where in Bedford Sparks could relocate.  They have been building Bedford up like crazy for the past few years, there isn't much open space left.  The only place I can think of is near where they are building the new Hannafords on 101.

boo, they are just relocating. They already opened up their new wedding facility in Derry...I am not sure where they are moving the restaurant too. Don't be sad!

I heard it is Lexus that is moving into that location and that Sparks is (or was some time ago) considering buying out the Wayfarer for their new location.

Yeah, it really is too bad.  I worked there (at The Event Center) and it's a really great place.  I still am completely baffled by this decision of his but I guess money talks.  It's one of my favorite restaurants too.

FWIW, they are exploring other locations, but I don't think anything has been settled yet.  I really, really hope he doesn't just shut it down - that place is just so fabulous.

I am saddned by thtis news as this is where our wedding was.  It is going to be a Lexus dealership and then Sparks is looking into taking over the Wayfarer Convention Center. That is what my DH told me.  He works at Stop & Shop right across the street.
