We spent WAY too much at Gymboree today :(

As I was getting Zach's diaper bag ready last night, I washed his coming home outfit and realized that I never bought the hat.  I took LeeAnn to Gymboree at lunch and I picked it up (last one in the store).

While I realize that he probably really will NOT need a hat because it's just so hot, I think it would look pretty cute in pictures.  I mean...this is adorable, right?  And the price is $8.50:

Okay, so the price we actually paid was 39 cents.  HAHAHAHA!  And LeeAnn even splurged and bought it for me ;)  It matches the outfit that I paid less than $11 for, but the outfit retails for together at $36.50 (not including the $8.50 hat).  Awww yeah for deals ;)

Re: We spent WAY too much at Gymboree today :(

  • I love the little bumps on the socks so that he doesn't slip when he walks out of the hospital...  Wink

  • I know. I breathed a HUGE sigh of relief when I saw those. Now I know he'll be super safe! :)
  • That is so adorable! Is it strange though that I find clothes on new born babies odd?! I had Brendon's NB pics done naked (he had a blanket around him and just his chest is somewhat showing). And I had him come home in a sleeper thing. They just look so silly in clothes! I guess cause they don't fill them out just yet.
  • Ebi...I don't think it is strange at all.  I didn't really put Rylie in "real clothes" until she was probably like 2 months.  She spent most of her time in sleepers.  I probably would have put her in a "regular" outfit for coming home, but since I didn't buy any newborn clothes, I didn't have anything to fit her so she came home in a 0-3 month sleeper.
  • Great deal Steph...very cute outfit. Aunt LeeAnn is so generous..hehe!

I dont see anything weird about putting proper clothes on a newborn. Spending thousands on newborn clothes is one thing but having a few cute outfits for pictures, or for meeting certain people for the first time...not weird at all.

  • So jealous that you went to the mall... I have been wanting to go!!!! I feel like I need a buddy to shop. The other day my Mom came to Kohls with me, I couldn't have gone without her!!!
  • I love Gymboree!!!    You always find the best deals on kiddie stuff!!!

  • What an adorable outfit!!!
  • Oh how cute.  I think it's so hard to find cute little boy clothing.
