Did you get your tax credit yet? I check my mail anxiously every day. It seems like people who filed after me have been getting theirs recently, so I was hoping they were just sending out massive batches.
We filed around May 10-11. When did you? Of course, we had to amend since our closing date was a day after the tax deadline.

Wow you haven't gotten yours yet??? I think we got ours back in May. But we may have beaten the rush since we closed in February. I'm sure they have probably been swamped.

We're at 8 weeks now. But when I called last month they told me it would be 12-16. But judging from BAH, they're so caught up that people who filed in LATE JUNE are already being processed.
As a matter of principle, I was going to wait to physically get the money until we bought our big ticket items (flatscreen and new mattress set), but our poor box spring is crumbling to the point it falls through the bed frame, and we can't hold off much longer!

Ooh noo!! That isn't good!! Funny though, bc I just had the opposite problem with my box spring, we had a perfectly good one we couldn't use. I had to buy a split box spring b/c our regular one wouldn't fit up our stairs. I've been trying to unload the old one for a while now, but I think my bro said he would take it (thankfully ? I am sick of it taking up my whole garage!)
But yeah, none of our furniture purchases or home decorating stuff would have happened without that check. It's a beautiful thing
