The skitters are bad this year here - it's been very wet. I heard some people talking about using garlic oil sprayed around the yard to get rid of them. Has anyone used a product like this?

It seems really natural, and if it works, it would be worth the $40 to me.

I use this:

It works great! You have to reapply after it rains, but otherwise, we've been using it for years and it works great, it's easy to apply, and we love it. We use one of these to apply it.
ETA: Duh, I should've said that this is a garlic oil product. That's really all it is - concentrated garlic oil - you mix it with water and a drop of loquid soap to help it stick to the grass. We spray it all over our grass, trees, deck posts, everywhere. It smells garlicky for a little while while it's still wet, but once it dries, you can't smell it at all.
