Bummer! My first ripe tomato in the Topsy Turvy has bottom rot!

Re: Bummer! My first ripe tomato in the Topsy Turvy has bottom rot!

  • Funny someone on the photography board just posted the same thing this morning!  Tomatos are so easy to grow I don't understand why you'd need to use this product unless you had no land to plant them in or a place you could put a pot.
  • Because I wanted to try growing an upside down tomato plant.

  • Oh that sucks. What is bottom rot?

I couldn't see the image, but, if she is talking about "blossom end rot" It just means the plant has low calcium... (i believe)... my gram tells me to just add lime.. that takes care of it..

  • Turn your plant right-side-up, add some miracle gro soil or mulch, add some vitamins and you are good to go :)
