Is anyone a photographer or can recommend one?

I want to get some family portraits done and am looking to go the not-a-studio-in-a-department-store route.  I have asked this before in the past but cannot access posts that far back.  Is anyone here a professional (or a really good amateur) photographer?  If not, can you recommend one that is reasonably priced? Thanks!

I love my photog, www.staceykane.com. I think she's reasonably priced for the product she puts out- but she is on the pricier side. I just think she's worth every penny.

I love the Hinckley's work!  They are amazing and so nice.  They did my friend's family portraits and they came out awesome!!  (Though they are on the pricey side.)

Kim Zay is an amateur photographer that doesnt have a business to back up what she is doing.  If you want to have pics done and then never get to see them, or to hound her for months on end to get the actual pics..that would be an excellent choice. By default, she is a nestie, but I wouldnt recommend.  Nice person, crappy business ethic.

Lauren!!!  Your daughter is getting sooo big!!!  Wow!!!  I would like to respectfully back up what 1ofStevesGirls has advised ... it's unfortunate but true and I was on the receiving end of the bad business as well.  Thankfully I did get my photos which were *gorgeous* but I had to hound the photographer, felt bad about doing so, and finally got my prints.  In good faith, I wouldn't recommend her.
