Layering Photographs??

I have always been obesessed with taking pictures, but I'm just now getting into editing them with some online programs I've found. A "friend" of the family took my wedding photos and did some editing to them, and one of them had a photo layered over another and it's my favorite picture, but I can't get her to tell me how she did it. Do any of you know how to do this or what I need to figure it out? I'm using the free Photoscape program, but I can't figure out how to do it on there.I was going to attach the picture for an example, but I can't figure out how to do it, but I did put it in my photo gallery.  Any info would be great, thanks!!

Re: Layering Photographs??

  • I would just google "layering pictures on photoscape."  I google when I can't find what I need on Phototshop.

  • Only certain photo editing programs allow for layers.  Photoshop is one of them.  I'm guessing this "Photoscape" program doesn't allow for layers.  I would recommend downloading the free trial of Photoshop CS5 or Photoshop Elements (which is a much cheaper version than the full version of CS5) from Adobe.com.  Photoshop Elements may be less overwhelming for you to try out.  Then google tutorials on how to perform layering actions.
