I just wanted to let you know that I was watching "The Business of Being Born" on Showtime Women(?) last night. I have whole new respect and understanding of home birthing, and am an in awe of you doing it. The parts where the mother gave birth and first held the baby seemed amazing, though I still don't think I would ever be able to do it personally. Just wanted to say that I was thinking of you.

Thanks so much! That documentary is really what got me into wanting to have a home birth.
It was such an amazing and miraculous experience. I still look back happily on that day, on my labor and delivery. I would not do anything different. The fact that I can remember every single moment and know that I was in control and present was and is so important to me.
