I put the iOS4 update on my 3G and I HATE it. Its so slow now. Is there a way I can take it off? I've already tried rebooting my phone and that didn't work. I just want it off. Is there a way to go back an update?
Re: I need iphone help.
Did you restart your phone after the update? I read somewhere that that worked for someone. If it's still slow read these instructions to downgrade:

no. Some are saying there is but if you do it will jack up your calls per my buddy the lead genius. I don't even know where you would find it but that was what I was told was that the downgrade does not work. Your best bet is to take it in to Apple.
Also, start looking for issues. Once mine was updated it started muting calls with my ear on occasion. It also would get stuck in apps. Then it wouldn't make any calls. Period. It was always out of service area. I was given a new phone.
I love my Iphone but this upgrade made me crazy. What's worse is that I was happy with my old phone but my husband, who I love but still, keeps adding junk to it. I didn't even want the update. Fixed now I guess.
