Good apps for a blackberry that are free?

Suggestions for some good apps for a blackberry?  I've got the Curve 8520.

Re: Good apps for a blackberry that are free?

  • I have the curve 8520 also. I like blackberry messenger a lot, because most of my friends have BBs too. I tried a few different apps - all I can say is - Do NOT get Youmail. It was kinda cool at first, because it emails and texts your messages to you so you don't have to go through VM and you can set up certain messages for certain people, but I had probs with my phone updating or doing anything and had to get a new one sent to me bc of the software issues and it still was hard to get rid of the access number, so had to call tech support to reroute all that for me. Also the crunchsms would make my phone freeze up.

I like the weather channel app, Twitter app, Pandora is my absolute favorite! you can put in any band or artist and it creates a playlist of similar artists and plays music. LOVE it!
