Need Internal Med doc rec in Waukesha?
I need a new doctor - I have a great OB/GYN, but need just a general practice/internal medicine doc.
Anyone have any recommendations?

When I moved to the area I asked this very question of these nesties and they referred me to Dr. Schellinger at Moreland Family Medicine. 262-542-9100 www.morelandfamilymedicine.com. My DH and I both see him and we like him a lot.
As someone who works in the medical field I can appreciate that he does not over use the medical system (i.e. requests you call him rather then set an appointment for minor occurences, rarely orders lab work, does not over prescribe...etc). However, if you like a really involved doctor that will run lots of tests, want you to come into the office frequently, and give you lots of meds this is not the doc for you. I think that there is probably a happy medium, but I feel confortable in his care and that is all that matters to me.
Again my DH (who is not in the medical field) and I really like him and we are glad that we found him.

I go to chis yanis for regular doc (internal med). he is in his 30s, very smart, a runner, and really good.
My gyno is in teh same building- Anne Martinelli. She is also younger and a runner.
They are both great and would highly recomend.
