Re: what brand lawn mower do you have?
We have a Craftsman with a Briggs motor. From Sears.

We have an old Simplicity and have had very few problems with it. Whatever brand you buy get it directly from the dealer instead of places like Home Depot because they sell inferior products to save costs. I know of 3 people who have bought HD mowers and had huge problems. Here's a post about it too:

We have a Simplicity (zero-turn).
We also still have FIL's old Simplicity tractor that he bought 20+ years ago and it still runs like a champ! Have had great luck w/them.
