Biking to the farmer's market

Would you bike from 28th St. along Eastern to the Fulton St. farmer's market?

How about if you had a toddler in a bike trailer behind you?

I wouldn't. That's only because there's a section (Franklin & Eastern area) on that route that makes me very nervous even during the day.

I would try it by myself first, a few times. if it goes well add the little one.

 Normally I don't mind driving there during the day, but all of sudden there has been a rash of incidents during the day and a lot of them involved people on bikes.  I had to bring my teenage babysitter home a few weeks ago and normally I would just have gone down Eastern but since I had her , I took a very long roundabout way.

You could do Alger to Plymouth, and take the back way from there...I can't think off the top of my head the easiest route, but I'm thinking Plymouth to Hall and then somewhere from there.  ha ha.

This was DH's idea as well... but the idea of Plymouth hill on my bike, hauling about 80lb behind me, doesn't sound so appealing... :z I might just have to resign myself to the fact that biking to our market isn't in the cards! Oh well.
