Hangin in the office...thinking about allllll the house projects we have yet to tackle and forming a general time line for when we'll work on them.

Good morning, I'm eating a late breakfast. After Lucy girl gets up I'm going to meet a AZ bumpie at the Chandler mall.
My good friend just had her baby last night so I'm taking dinner over to her tonight!
I'm here, just working. We are short one person but it's so slow that I dont want to work. break is in about 15 mins and I will take a short nap.
And there isnt much on the board this weekend and today, so it's extra slow

I just got of the phone with the Paradise Bakery in Surprise and I go info about the cokkie buffet for the wedding!!!!!! it is $8.95 for a dozen cookies and then $3.25 for 15 chippers... So i think we are going to do 5 flavors in the regular size cookie and then 2 or 3 flavors of the chippers!!!!!!

PLEASE tell me it's her first nap of the morning, and that she's not still sleeping...I would be INSANELY jealous is that was the case!
Sitting in my office working on some new orders that came in, and procrastinating doing a recap from a promotion....also, thinking about entering my pup in a contest I just heard about from the humane society's weekly emails I recieve.

I'm in the same boat with the house projects. There are so many things I want to do but the funds are not available : ( We were thinking of putting together a list of all the stuff we want to do then picking one project or two a month to save for.

Since setting a date for Casey's bday party, our lives have become a race to finish the house. We're now down to 3 weekends before the party, and I'm starting to stress that we won't finish...
What kind of projects do you have? Are you into DIY or contracting? Our renos have mostly been DIY, other than the countertops and HVAC. If you need any contacts I'm happy to make a rec.

I am sitting at home, answering work e-mails and waiting for the electrical contractor to come over to give me an estimate to do some work. I am so tired of estimates, work orders, home repair and all that goes along with it. I just want to move and be done with this!

Here briefly. Isabella had a rough morning. She has had 2 UTI's in the past month or 2, and her pediatrician wanted her to get an ultrasound to check her kidneys to make sure everything was ok. We had the ultrasound appt. this morning, and it did NOT go well. For some reason, she was HYSTERICALLY petrified of the lab tech and the bed. We weren't even there for anthing painful. But just putting her on the bed resulted in her scrambling and literally clinging to me for dear life, and screaming like someone was trying to hurt her. =( I tried every trick in the book to get her to calm down and to get her ok with the tech (who was a very nice woman). Nope. So, I had to hold her down for like 15 minutes for the ultrasound. She was seriously hysterical, red, screaming bloody murder, and trying to get free. It was so hard for me not to get upset also. I do not know what happened. She has never acted like that at a doctor appt. Ever.
All I can think of was that she has just been through too much medical stuff lately. We have been going to the pedi's office constantly for weight checks (since she is very, very small, and not really gaining weight well at all), and the UTI's, and she has had to pee in a bag taped to her like 3 times now, and had blood drawn twice, and we have had to hold her down twice per day for her antibiotics for 10 days for each of her 2 UTI's, plus we had the dentist last week (which she hated) and now this ultrasound. I think she is just done. Poor thing. And we go back to the doctor on Friday. =(
Anyway, so she went down for a nap, and is finally sleeping. I think I might go take a nap also and try to forget this morning... =(

Just sent a new LSR over to our REA for the REA selling our (hopefully) future home. We just need a damn yes now. I'm kind of freaking out...
Not much work for me right now so I'm a little bored and I'm hungry. lol
I'm hungry too, and I do not have lunch today...

Ugh, that must have been so heartbreaking to feel so helpless while she was upset! I hope the doctors appointments calm down soon.
Jenn -- Now I'm craving paradise cookies!! A friend of mine did a cookie table at her wedding and asked a bunch of guests (mostly women in her family and her bridesmaids/close friends) to bring a batch of cookies, and then we made labels to explain what each batch was. It was really cute (and yummy), and didn't cost her anything. I think people really got into it and enjoyed it. Of course, paradise bakery is also totally amazing -- you can't go wrong there!
I'm kind of bummed today because my mom went home this morning.
It's always awesome to have her here, but it sucks when she leaves. You'd think after living in AZ for 6 years, I'd be used to it, but I think the hormones are making it particularly difficult this time, haha.

I'm starving!!!! I haven't eaten all day! Kaylee has VBS this week and Evan is the crankiest little man on the block (4 new teeth coming in).
