So I realized last week that I vent a lot here. And although you guys are always so sweet and let me get away with it, I really should be sharing with you the good news too. Please just don't mention on FB since no everyone there knows just yet.
So MIL seems to be doing much better. She's in better spirits and isn't in as much pain. Although we know the first few days after chemo are always the worst. She's getting around a whole lot more and hasn't had trouble with water or air in her chest cavity for a couple weeks now. The second chemo treatment is Thursday, and the Dr.'s will tell her afterwards if it's working and where to go from there.
She's also going to be able to see her first grand baby. No not us...my BIL & SIL just announced they're expecting their first. So we're going to be an auntie and uncle again.
And again. In not so great news, but good news, my brother is also going to have a baby around the same time. Sadly it's not with someone he's serious with, let alone seeing. Plus she lives in AZ and goes to college in FL. So although it's great news, we're not quite sure how much of a relationship we're going to be allowed to have with him/her.
And lastly, Eric and I are house hunting. We're working with an agent and just got pre-approved for what we wanted. We really didn't want to be in CA another couple of years but with everything going on, we want to stick around.
So yeah, thanks for letting me vent all those times. But I'm really glad to be sharing with you all the good news too.
Re: Good news all around!
I'm so glad to hear that your MIL is doing better! I will continue to keep her in my thoughts.
Yay for babies in the family, yay for househounting, and YAY for good news!
I'm so glad to hear so much good news from you!
I'm keeping you all in my T&P's and I hope your MIL continues to feel better and be in better spirits. That matters so much in times like this.
Congrats for all the baby news! Hopefully you guys will be able to have a good relationship with the mother of your brothers child, and therefore a good relationship with your niece/nephew.
Good luck with the house hunting! I found the hunting part to be really fun.
i've been MIA for quite some time, and didn't know about your MIL - so, I'm so sorry to hear that. But I'll keep her and your whole family in my thoughts and prayers. I hope she continues to feel better. Chemo is a b*tch, for lack of a better word, but if it saves her life, it's worth it.
Good luck with everything else! You sound super busy!
Thanks for the update, and happy to hear there is some good news! A grandbaby is probably going to help big time with MIL's fight!
Yay.
This so glad to hear some good news for you guys
