Have to vent - coworkers
I am so tired of dealing with junior high drama bullsh!t. From women that are 40!!!! Our company is split between East and West (legal reasons) so we have jokingly split our accounting department the same way. There are 4 of us who do the accounting for the East (myself included) and 3 for the West with 1 girl who does both. So lately the 4 of us from the East have been doing lunches every Thursday as a way to bond and sometimes we go get frozen yogurt in the afternoon. The 4th person is very high maintenance and we only invite her because she cries and throws a fit if she's not invited (she's 40). Well one of the West girls went and complained that we always do things and don't invite her. Seriously!?! You are almost 40 - grow up! Then this afternoon one guy and I ran out for some yogurt and didn't invite the East girl and she threw a fit!!!! I can't win! Sometimes we just want to run out quickly and if we start inviting everyone our 5 minute quick break has now turned into 30 minutes because you have to wait for some to finish what they're working on . Sorry it's long and it might not make sense - but I want to scream!!!!!

I've never been in a situation like this, but I totally sympathize for you! What losers, I'm so sorry you have to deal with people like that in a professional enviornment.

Here is my work vent for the day--I spent half the day on the phone prepping this job for the dude in LA and he just called me and said--oh, I can book you for tomorrow but not today--um, hello--I worked tooooo-day! Grrrrr.
Oh girl you are preaching to the choir here! except my manger doesn't give a flying hoot what we do so the crazy people get away with everything...
I am sorry, that stinks. I hope things can get resolved and the drama llama's let you enjoy your yogurt in peace!
They always want to go because they know they are a pain in the ass and want to make sure your not talking about them!!!

Sorry you are dealing with that. You can never win when inviting people to things...someone's ALWAYS bound to get butt hurt from it. UGH!
