Hi everyone...Tomatoes and Zucchini

Just wanted to share...

My tomatoes are getting bigger.. But still not green... soon!

And, my grandma's Zucchinis are pretty darn big!

I can not wait to pick a tomato and make a sandwich!!

How are your gardens coming along??

Re: Hi everyone...Tomatoes and Zucchini

  • I have the oddest zucchini plant ever this year. I am not sure what it is doing, but its definately not normal. I think I will just purchase them from now on. I do have PLENTY of patty pan squash, cucumbers, tomatoes are starting to turn red, pulled some carrots this weekend, plenty of herbs and even recent planting of lettuce. I am sure we will have plenty more goodies this week. Only major fail, onions and corn. I will try next year.
  • We've got heirloom little pear shaped tomatoes, that pack a zest and are so yum in salads in addition to two other tomato plants. Also, we have two eggplants coming along.  Our bell pepper tree is hardy in the summer (in AZ), and we've picked all the vegetables.

  • Nice!

We have been getting a lot of stuff lately - no tomatoes yet.  Pics in blog!

    Your garden looks great!

Right now, I rent an apartment, and do not have much of a yard.. so my tomatoes are just in pots, rather than a nice garden.  Someday... lol
