Another A/C question
I am wondering how many of you who own homes have your air conditioner regularly serviced and how important it is? Our airconditioner unit is OLD and works well but I am wondering if we should have it serviced to make it more efficient.

We get ours serviced. We are new homeowners and the previous owners had it done and passed along the package they had already paid for. However, we chose not to continue the regular heater service. We had it serviced this passed winter, but then I saw Recker & Boerger offered a special for about half the price that it would have cost us to pay for another year of service.
the family before us kept this home in immaculate condition, so maybe that's the wrong decision. Take it for what it's worth- again we are new at this. I'm curious to hear what you guys decide to do.
