Poll: Flower Tattoo

For lack of better phrasing, do you think flowers are a feminine tattoo?  C wants to get another tat for his bday; he wants two roses with our wedding bands (or some sh!t). 

I think roses/flowers in general are feminine and a bit strange for a man to get, am I wrong?  Regardless, I'm not going to tell him, "No!  You cannot get that tattoo..."  B/c its his body and its what he wants, I'm just curious if I'm way off base.

(Sorry to anyone who's H has a flower tat, I'm not judging!)

I don't think so.  My dad has a rose with a dove carring a ribbon with my mom's real name in it(her name is really Hawaiian but she goes by Kathy here)lol .

Phew!  That is reassuring!

I should add that I am really flattered that he wants yet another tattoo symbolizing us.  The whole flower thing just caught me off guard.

My dad has roses but it's around the Virgin Mary but it depends on how the artists draws the roses/flowers> But I see that it's more of a girls thing then a man's.

IMO, it depends on the flower. I see roses as sort of strong and romantic, so it's not as girly to me, and I think a guy can pull it off. Daisies or sunflowers might be another story, ya know?

A friend of mine has roses tattooed on the inside of his arms and they do not look girly at all.  They are very full and open and are in black ink. 

I am not sure how colored roses would look on a man....black and white looks good though...lol
