I read your blog posts about Ottawa, and holy cow. I'm totally in love. It's SO beautiful there! Wanna take me with you if/when you move there?
Re: *Jaye*
It really is SO beautiful! Such a timeless city.
I highly recommend anyone and everyone visit there.
What is also amazing is that it's a wonderful place all year round. Winters are so cool because there are big festivals and there is just so much to do.
I have about a million more pictures, so I might make a page on my blog with them at some point. I didn't want to load down the posts with photos of Parliament
Oooh, yeah, make a page with more pics! I love me some festivals, so I'd be all about that. What is the weather like there?
I'm glad your hubby got to see Niagra Falls, too! I'm from Cleveland, which isn't a far drive from Niagra, so I went there several times growing up. But Mike has never seen it, and I keep telling him that we have to get there at some point. It's like the Grand Canyon -- it doesn't change much and there's not a ton to do besides stare at it and say "wow," but it's just one of those things you have to see for yourself.
The weather is pretty drastic.
The day before we left it was 40degreesC with 100% humidity (think 106F with 100% humidity!) which is pretty much unheard of heat but it can happen. Usually it's in the 30s during the summer.
Winters are very very cold. But you deal with it Lots of snow!
There aren't any major weather anomalies though which is awesome.
Personally, I much prefer snow and humidity to the scorching AZ summers.

merely to pout about impending move
No pouting! It's not set in stone, obviously
Years away Shelly!

I haven't traveled that much throughout the country. I've only been to Ontario, Quebec and Nova Scotia. There are so many more places I am dying to go though - Prince Edward Island is at the top of my list

I think I can arrange that!
