Poll - FB friends

Re: Poll - FB friends

  • I would accept because it's been almost a decade since my "big-time" ex and I have broken up, and I've always wanted him to be the first one to break down and request me.

  • I would. I have been with DH for almost 6 years, I think I am over anything that has happened that long ago. Plus, I want to see if they got fat.
  • I am actually friends with my long time high school boyfriend on Facebook and his wife.  His wife and I actually meet for lunch sometimes and I'm supposed to be doing a photo session of his 2 kids soon.

Some I'd probably deny, though.  Would depend on the ex!

  • The reason I ask is because my ex from over 5 years ago sent me a friend request today. He just got on FB apparently since he only has maybe 10 friends and 1 or 2 wall posts. I'm FB friends with his sister (we were RL friends before I dated her brother) and we didn't exactly have a bad breakup, we just grew apart.  It shouldn't be a big deal but I'm a little wary of him having access to my info/pics/wall posts for some reason.

  • Besides a few random dates (during our one and only break), I haven't been single in 10 years. At this point, everything is water under the bridge. In fact, both of our exes flew to Cabo to see us finally take the plunge...

I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

  • All of my exes (with the exception of 2 guys) are from my hometown/high school and I don't hardly accept any requests from people from said hometown/high school. I can't stand hardly anyone from there and don't want them accessing my personal info. So, looks like I'm the lone no for now :)
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

  • I have a couple exes on FB. I don't think I sent friend requests to them, but I don't remember. It's not like I'm messaging them constantly, it's just nice to see what they're up to (and brag about what I'm doing Wink).
  • I think I am friends with all but 1 of my ex's on FB and I dont think he's on FB.

I was in a wedding this weekend and the bride's two serious ex boyfriends were both there.

I would not accept the friend request.  My ex boyfriends and I were not friends before dating, and I've always maintained that we not be friends after.

  • For me it would depend on the ex.  Most I'm indifferent about catching up with them.  There is one that I miss the friendship of that I would definitely accept and are a couple who were really jerks that I'd definitely pass on.  The rest would depend on my mood that day...if I did accept I'd probably set them as limited access though.

You could accept the request and then put the person on a limited profile view. I do that with a ton of people from high school.

That's what I decided to do.
