Hi ladies! I just wanted to introduce myself - I'm Liz, my husband is Matt and we just moved to Norfolk from the Detroit area. H is in the Navy and I'm a certified teacher just looking for work now! Hoping the market for it down here is better than Michigan. We got married 10/3/09 and don't have any kids yet, just our furbaby, Sasha. I'm looking forward to chatting with you guys!

Hi! Hi! It is pretty quiet on this board and I sometimes forget to check it for several days but ah anyway. Welcome to the area - my husband is ARNG and just returned from a year-long deployment so we're looking forward to being just a married couple as well since we were married just 2 mos. before he left. We have 1 furbaby and my DD (6) and were able to recently complete a step-parent adoption for DH so just waiting on the new birth certificate, etc. etc. before getting her enrolled for 1st grade.
