Do you ever...

Look at real estate in other states? I am just always so curious about two things... One - what is the main style of homes in other states and Two- the difference in what you can get for what dollar amount....

Re: Do you ever...

  • I do, since we are planning on moving to Portland. It's about the same, maybe a little less, there then it is here. I've looked at apartments and homes.

  • Yes, but it just makes me want to move out of AZ.  I love the small town feel and houses with character.  Not the cookie cutter houses you find out here...

  • I want a house with a front porch so I can sit outside in the morning read my newspaper and sip on my coffee/bloody mary.

I totally agree!  I'm always in love with houses with a porch.  And yes, I look at houses in other states.  Mostly just to see what you can get compared to here (or Seattle, as that's where I'm from)

  • All of the time, because we can't wait to get out of Arizona.  Unfortunately, it'll be a few years, so I tortue myself until then!

This. I look at Michigan (where DH and I are both from) and here frequently. We will most likely stay here because of our job security, but it's fun to dream, right?!

  • Also, I hate the fact that every single house is tan!!!

I want a nice blue house with white trim.  I love very bold colors!

  • My husband has applied for so many jobs all over the country in the past two years.  Every time he is up for one of those jobs I have looked at houses.  I loved the look of the houses in Oklahoma City believe it or not.  They were larger with nice big lots and the price was SO reasonable!!  I have lived in PA for the last five years and like the way everything here has it's own personality but I miss ranch style homes and the desert.  I love AZ and can't wait to come home.  BUT... ask me in two years and I'll say I miss green grass and rolling hills!!!
  • I look at properties in CT everyday when I get bored.  I secretly hope C and my family will agree/decide to move back.

Lol, I know, it'd be hard to uproot.  Hence, we should all relocate.  The Phoenix Nesties can storm the CT board, lol.

PS - Ask CJ to buy you the mansion for your bday, 45 mil is pocket change  Stick out tongue
