Hey! I do know where Lewisburg is. With my job I travel all over the Eastern part of the state so I'm lucky to have been able to see much of the state!
We are leaving PA on August 6th and plan to be in Phoenix on the 10th in the evening. We'll drive about 8 hours a day. We are driving our truck and towing our car. With us will be our two dogs and our almost 2 year old son. God help me!! 
We do plan to live in Phoenix and are also looking at some houses in Litchfield Park which we love. We are headed out on the 22nd to househunt for a week and then back here to move!
What is taking you guys to Phoenix?

Sounds like you have an interesting job. I always thought it'd be neat to have a traveling job. I'm stuck in a hospital w/sick & crabby people all day, ahah.
Ok, that's kinda what we were thinking too...8-10hrs/day. Don't know if I already mentioned it or not, but we're leaving the 28th & hope to be there by the 1st. Good luck w/your move! Hopefully the babe & dogs will behave well. Your son should prob. sleep a lot, I'd think.
We're not too familiar w/any of the areas or anything out there yet, so we're gonna rent in Surprise prob. & go from there since my job is gonna be in Sun City. DH's job takes him wherever like w/in an hr or so from wherever we're living. Also good luck w/the house hunt! So you're planning on buying right away?? We hope to buy w/in a yr, as long as we love it there like we think we will.
We're actually coming out to kinda start over. I've wanted to move there for a long time & finally got DH talked into it. I hate the cold here & the weather blows the majority of the time. I've just never been "in love" w/PA, though I've lived here my whole life. Also, there's soooo much more to do out in AZ & the surrounding areas. I've seen a lot of the East Coast & not like any of the West, so we wanna go travel & explore while we don't have anything holding us back here...no kids, no house, & neither w/jobs that we absolutely LOVE & don't wanna leave.
What an awesome adventure you are on!! That's how we ended up here. My husband is a federal correctional officer and was promoted and the job was here. We left Phoenix five years ago (almost exactly) and my whole family is there.
We'll buy when we find something we love. If it's now, great. If not, great. We'll rent then.
Enjoy the drive! What route are you taking?? We went through Indianapolis, Tulsa and Albuquerque on the way here... we moved fast then. This time we're going through Columbus, St. Louis, Oklahoma City and Albuquerque.
I hope Arizona is the adventure and fun you are looking for... I certainly love it!!
