magical dining. anyone heard of this?
Re: magical dining. anyone heard of this?
Wow, I've never heard of it, but it sounds like a really great deal. There are some fantastic restaurants on that list. I'm curious if there's multiple entree options on the menus or only one. (My husband doesn't eat meat, so if it was only one option, that might be an issue).
If you try it out, please let us know how it goes.
I poked around some more and if you click on the restaurant you can view the magical menu. It looks like most you choose and appetizer, an entree and a dessert. The entrees mostly offer 3 to choose from.
Oh, I didn't even notice the menus. LOL
My husband does eat fish, so it looks like he'd be ok at most places, but I do wonder if they'd accommodate vegetarians. If I had to guess, I'd say maybe yes, because if anything, the vegetarian dish is probably cheaper than the other items, so it's not like the restaurant would be losing money.
oh now I looked at almost all the fine dining menus and all of them have fish or a pasta dish (that I'm sure you could order sans meat). I think DH are going to try this.
Meh...you can probably get a better deal walking in and just ordering off of the menu. I'm sure it's tiny portions, lousy service, giant tip.
?That makes me sad. ?You are the first person I have heard that doesn't like this place. ?It's one of our favorites. ?We go every opportunity we can. ?The food is amazing and I love the entertainment. ?:(?
I actually liked the food there a lot too, but I do think the entertainment is one of those things you either love or you hate. Most of our friends love it, but almost as soon as my husband and I walked in there we were like, "Um, we MUST sit on the patio." Just too loud and crazy for us. LOL I would definitely go back but only if I could sit outdoors.
for what it's worth I made a reseveration at Emeril's Tchoup Chop. DH & I have been wanting to try it forever. I asked the person on the phone and they said the "deal" included their regular entrees (size and preperation), you are just limited to the choices provided. However, I also asked and they said they would be willing to accomodate for a vegetarian on the same deal (she said either another entree or same entree prepared with veggie or tofu). I did the math and with what we will probably order we will save around $30.
I will also add DH tried Jeffery's restuarant and paino bar about a month ago and it was really nice and we enjoyed the food. However, we expected live piano music and there was none while we were there.
Wow! Thanks for posting this. This sounds really neat. We're going to have to try it as well! There are a lot of restaurants to choose from.
(LOL at the negativity in some of the responses though)
Thanks for the update! Tchoup Chop is one on the list that I haven't been to yet, so it's a definite contender if we do this.
I haven't eaten there and know nothing about the food but I have seen the place and it looks so cool. You can look it up online and see pictures. hehe, I'm choosing my place to eat based on the decor. but their menu is fun too.
Negativity?
