Hey Alesha!!!
I'm so happy that you're feeling better. My IBS is mild b/c of having my gallbladder removed. Not to be graphic but I say mild in the sense that when I eat something (even the slightest ruffage like a salad!!!) its in me and basically right outta me - ugh. So to calm me just a little I am able to just take rolaids (sometimes a few).
Now the day b/f my wedding and with all this job stuff I'm sure my stomach has had its own hurricane a brewin in there so sometimes I have to take more. I haven't had a check up in a while about it but definitely should.
I'm prob going to ask my dr about what you're taking the next time I go.
I can't eat greesy foods very often if at all and heavy foods just do not agree w/me.
Thanks for sharing your success and hope your drs visit goes well. I'll be thinking of you!!! Where did you do your research? I usually start w/webmd or something like that........

Ah, I have the opposite problem. Things move slowly down my road. Though it can be awful, I'll take that over what you deal with. I started by google searching for "balancing stomach acid", thinking that I could just get a list of the acidity of foods and what I should stay away from. The sites I found were modern herbalist and vitamin research products. There are tests your doctor can give you in the office to measure stomach pH, too. Thank you and (BIG HUGS) to you, too!
ahhh, good to know!!! I'll ask the dr about that.
well, I guess they are both "evil" situations. I don't think one is better than the other, b/c prior to the gallbladder issue I had your same prob. ugh, I feel your pain - literally!!!!
I hope it gets better and sounds like you're on the road to getting there.
keep me posted on it all
