is this strong enough for bathroom floor?

I found a recipe for an all-purpose cleaner:

1/2 gal water, 1/4 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup vinegar.

Is this powerful enough to clean a tile bathroom floor?  If not, what do you use?  I'm pregnant so I don't want to breathe in any harsh fumes.

Thanks!

Re: is this strong enough for bathroom floor?

  • I use 50/50 vinegar and water for an all purpose cleaner.  I'm not sure what kind of strength you are looking for, but it works well for me.   For the tile floors, I usually use a soap solution made with Dr. Bronners, though.  I usually prefer to scrub those with a brush and soap solution rather than spray with vinegar/water and mop, but I may be switching to mopping as I get further along!

This is what I use, too, and it is what I use on my floors.
