Got a letter from my H!
As some of you may know, my husband is at an Army Officer training thing for the entire month of July and we can not talk at all while he is gone :-( Well tonight I got a letter from him!!!!!!!!!! I NEVER thought I would be so excited to get a letter, I actually cried when I saw it in the mail box! He is doing great and really excelling, so that makes me soooo happy! The hardest thing about this month has been not knowing how he is doing, this is a big deal for his career and he was so nervous to go, so it has been really hard not knowing if he is doing well, even though I assumed he was because he rocks :-) I am just so happy right now!

Ohh yay!! How was the tone of his letter? Is he doing well?
I know that anxiety well. I can't imagine being married to a military person. It's hard enough having my brother in the military. I'd lose my mind if my H was.
Oh my. i almost cried reading that! When I was a Jr. in high school, my high school boyfriend at the time was in the army. It killed me every time to see a letter from him. I'm sure not the *same* feeling as you....but I *kinda* get it.
Happy for you! Remember you talking about how sad you were about not talking/hearing from him.
I'm so happy you can write back too!!! Sucks that no one knows what to expect when they go away.

There is something so romantic about getting a real letter from the person you love. I'm so glad you heard from him. I'm sure it is SO hard to not be able to talk to each other.

I am pretty sure this is the first letter I have ever gotten (besides cards) from anyone, ha. No one sends them any more! But it was so great, very romantic and so much better than an e-mail! It has been hard not talking to him, we usually talk numerous times a day on the phone while we are at work AND we obviously see each other every night at home, so this has sucked. It is almost done, only 2 more weeks!
