DS sick yesterday...now want to be a SAHM more than ever..
DS had a fever virus yesterday...his temp went up and down so sometimes he would sleep, sometimes he would feel good and want to play. We met DH for lunch at a park near downtown. DS and I just hung out and watched some TV, he napped, we went out and he swung in his swing for a little bit...it was FANTASTIC...I now want to be a SAHM more than ever...I wish I could think of something I could do to still bring in income like freelance write or start a profitable website and truly work from home.

I'm sorry to hear he was sick. Hope he's feeling better. I think I must be lacking a maternal gene b/c I almost hate being home and am ready to back to work. Maybe you can figure something out so you can SAH.
Oh, how was his party?
It went really well...very overwhelming but SO GREAT!
So glad the party went well! Is he feeling better now? I hope something works out for you to SAH :-). A girlfriend of mine is doing it and loves it. I think I would enjoy it, too, to an extent. I told DH if he moves me to somewhere remote that I would stay at home and start having babies.
He's feeling better...he went to day-care and so far, so good. I think I would really enjoy it. I don't think I would have said that a few years ago...when I would be off for a week, I would be ready to go back to work from boredom. If I could find enough work to do so that we could still be comfortable, I would definitely do it. I would still want him to go to some sort of group programs to interact with other kids like preschool at our church.
