someone give me a boy's name starting with an S that has two syllables!!

This guy at work keeps sending me emails calling me Sandra, and since his name is Steven, I'm going to start butchering his name, too.

That guy is just so frustrating!!!  I mean, he obviously has to pull up my name to send me an email and it obviously does not say "Sandra".... Every.single.time I open an email from him, it'll say

Sandra,

Please see attached for blah, blah, blah.....

GRRRRR!!!

People will call the office for me and ask for Kathy when the email/fax I sent them clearly says Katy so I know how you feel! I'm kinda used to it though because my mom's name is Cathy and people have gotten us mixed up before.

I can kinda see the Katy-Kathy thing since Katy isn't the most common spelling.  I get the Sara-Sarah thing a lot, but that doesn't bother me so much since it's a pretty easy mistake to make.  But I've been doing this guy's time and labor for almost two years now and he still can't get my name right?  How do you get Sandra from Sara anyway???

I say you just start addressing him as Steve-O or Steve- arini in work emails.

Or bold your name at the end of the email.

Or you could say, "I'm sorry but my name is SARA, not Sandra. Thank you."

Then again, I can be a B like that...

It kills me that people can't spell my name right... my work email address is HAYLEY@comapny.com hahaha. JEZUSSSSS get a clue folks! it's right there!

My new last name is a WORD. A word that you learned to read and spell before 5th grade, I can assure you. Somehow, though, people keep trying to add extra vowels, both in writing and verbally. It annoys me. When people butchered my maiden name, I could sort of understand, even though it was spelled and pronounced phonetically. But this... This baffles me.

See, I've already come to accept the fact that my last name is ALWAYS going to get butchered....all of you facebookers already know that my new last name is pretty random.  People always get it wrong.  I've even had someone ask me if I was sure that I spelled it right... seriously?

I hate when I go my name is Stephanie and they look right at me and go Tiffany? ..............No. My old last name used to be Covarrubias so I expected that one to be butchered to pieces. I like my new last name...its so easy....
