Posting a question on a new/semi-new message board that you belong to, then ppl that you have talked to before reply with snarky/b!tchy responses/comments?

I could care less if they are strangers.  Its the internet, if you don't like what you see, log out.  That is just me though, I am not that sensitive online as in person.

when i first got pg, i posted just some normal first baby, first pg questions and definitely got mixed answers. some were very kind and helpful but others were pretty snarky. I just didnt understand because this is suppose to be a supportive community. I understand it is the internet but we are all on this site for the same things. Support and advice. Kind of discourages people to come here for help and questions if you get your head bit off everytime you ask a simple thing. i kind of learned that obviously I wont always get a happy nice response. I guess it is what it is, you can't change how people think. But its sad to know you can't come here to just get advice when needed!

I just ignore it. If someone is so miserable that they need to be a b!tch on the boards, then they can kiss it!

Sometimes it irks me. I don't like it when people get on a high horse and ms now it all. I don't let it bother me for very long.

It took me a long time to go from lurking to posting because of all the b!tchy posts.  Some people have too much time on their hands and think they need to post snide remarks when they could just move on.  If you don't have something nice to post, don't post anything at all!

The funny is that most of the snarky posters I've seen on other boards feel so justified in being mean that they will rip you apart more if you (a) depend yourself or (b) point out the attitude. I don't get it. I'm not naturally a snarky person so seeing it makes me wonder sometimes. And it does make me wonder if they are like that IRL and if they are...whoa....good luck friends, family and DH. But of course if you say that.....everyone on the board will rip you a new one. *sigh* the drama on other boards lol
