I am wondering..

I have a friend that is new to the area and looking into making some extra money. She is a fabulous photographer, but has always done it "just for fun". She took maternity pictures for me which I cherish and she has taken some of the best pictures of my son. I suggested that she advertise her photography skills. This is my thinking... She could meet you/your family at a local park and spend an hour or so taking pictures (she also said "ohhh it would be fun to go out and do things with families, like apple picking"), then give you all of your pictures on a cd, so that you could print them whereever/whenever you want. I think that she should charge $75-$100 for this. (I recently had my son's pictures taken at Sear's, I didnt love them and paid $120 for the cd.)

So I am wondering if this seems to be a reasonable price. Too much? Too little? Would you be interested in something like this? I could show you pictures that she has taken for me, they are fabulous!

I think it's a decent price depending on her skills...email me her info/samples and I could take a look.

A local woman has an ad on Craigslist and she was going to do them for free for us because she was trying to build her portfolio. We got too busy and couldn't make the time. I think your friends price is good and I am sure if she puts an ad on Craigslist that she would get some interest. Does she have a website? Even if she just makes a simple page with some of her work that would be a good start.
