anyone going to the Jennifer Weiner Book Signing?
Hi Ladies,
Just curious if anyone is going to the Jennifer Weiner book signing on the 26th? I'm excited to go since I've never been to a book signing, just disappointed that I have to go alone since none of my friends that enjoy reading can make it.
For those that have been to a book signing, did you enjoy it? what should I expect?

I'm going! I have to go pick up my ticket tomorrow. I'm mostly going for Jen Lancaster, though, but I like Jennifer Weiner too.
I've been to a few book signings before. I don't always buy a book and stay for the signing. Sometimes, I just stay to hear them talk and then leave (the lines can be long).
I may stay on Monday, though, because I love Jen Lancaster and would love to have her autography my copy of Bitter is the New Black.
I can't predict the crowds expected but I would wear comfy shoes and if you own a copy of the book I would bring it because otherwise I think they expect you to buy a copy (I haven't been to any that would sign a photo, tshirt, etc instead of a book). You may also want to bring your camera.
They are loads of fun. I mostly like the talking part, though, and rarely stay for autographs.
