10 lbs.

OK, so I'm telling you ladies, cuz H doesn't care (plus I don't like to say anything about my weight with him! :-D) , but I am determined to lose 10lbs by my younger SIL's wedding on Oct.9th. That's just over 12 weeks away, so it *should* be very possible, as long as I don't fall off the train (or knowing me, JUMP off!). So if I mention to much about workouts or being motivated, just ignore my threads. :-D I need someone to help encourage me and hold me semi-accountable, and H isn't dependable for that right now cuz he's so busy with work (he fixes A/Cs, and today, for instance, it will be 115! Busy day for him? I think yes.).

I'm sick of being rather gushy in too many spots. I have an AWESOME tan, and I'd rather not show it! LOL So there ya have it. That's less than a pound a week, so *maybe* I can even lose a few more than that! But 10 is my goal.

Re: 10 lbs.

  • Good Luck!! Are you going to be dieting as well as exercising?

  • Woo, go Z!  12 weeks is plenty of time to reach your goal.
  • Good for you. I think it is totally attainable.

  • I'm right there with you!  I'm determined to loose the little bit of weight I've gained since October.  And H doesn't really care to discuss it much, he'll listen for a few but then he's over it and ready to talk about something else.  So far since the wedding I've been at crossfit 3 times a week every week.  Now that I've gotten in a little bit of a workout routine I've got to tackle what I'm putting in my mouth!  So you'll never talk about it too much for me!
  • good luck! you can totally do it! :)
  • go girlllllllllllllllllll

    You can dooooooo it!

    haha JB..

THanks for the support ladies!!! I def feel like I can do it! I've actually worked out every day this week (not a buttload, but I don't have the time for 3 hour workouts, especially when it's 117 out today!), and am about to do my mini-tramp workout now! Woot!!

sw - I won't really be doing much to my diet. I don't 'diet', but have a very healthy overall diet. I eat mostly organic, only hormone-free organic meats (mostly chicken and turkey), I limit carbs (minus chocolate lately!!!), drink a TON of water, don't drink soda, do a lot of fresh veggie juices, etc... so other than making sure I'm cooking more at home and not eating out (which I don't do a lot of anyway), there's not much to do with my diet! I think for me, it's mostly been lack of exercise and a little slacking on portion size, which I'm already correcting. :)
