Introduction & Question
Hello! I hang out on my local board (Baltimore). We are finally saying bye to my one bedroom apt to move into a house of our own. I would like to start a garden right away. If anyone can tell me what I can plant the first week of Aug I would greatly appreciate it. According to the research I have done it looks like everything has to be planted at the begining of summer or the very end. Is it to late to try tomatoes? Mmmm
Thanks in advance!
Re: Introduction & Question
Hi and welcome
Check out cold weather crops online and you should be able to find some greens, etc. that can be planted in late summer/early fall and go into October/November.
And if you want to hold off just a few weeks, you can stick some perennials in around September. They'll overwinter nicely and give you good results in the spring.

Thanks for the advice on the perennials. The info that I found for cold weather greens was for planting in October. Thanks for the help
