Re: Greek Fest!!!
I hate that I'm going to miss it. I love the food they serve.
Maybe next year.
it is delishhhhh!!!! they sell a little tray of all the desserts....but baklava (sp i know!) is my favoriteeee!
i LOVE the veggie plate...the spanakopita (sp? again!) LOL is sooo good!
is anyone going sat morning? we should have a mini gtg!
edit: dh and I are going fri night. anyone else planning on being there?
Oh yum! I wish my DH were here. He LOVES greek food. This would have been fun to go to.?
Pita Stop is fantastic! Their hummus (they spell it homos which makes me laugh every time! LOL) is soooo good. Sabra brand hummus is really good too if you are in the mood for hummus at home!
I do love me some hummus! I need to go to the pita stop sometime. I was actually craving some greek food about a month or so ago. James and I went to Al's one day (has anyone ever been there? really good!) but I've never had any of their greek stuff, that day I ended up getting a cheeseburger. LOL
Ohhhh.... Sabra hummus... I made some from scratch the other night. it's sort of a PITA (no pun intended, HA), but the flavor is TOTALLY worth it. It has this extra zing that you don't get from store-bought hummus. It reminds me a lot of the hummus at the Olive Branch (my favorite greek restaurant).
