I've decided I need a new crib.
Re: I've decided I need a new crib.
I was reading an article that said they are changing all of the crib safety standards in December and that all current cribs, even ones that are not drop side, that they sell right now, are no longer going to be considered "safe".
I'm buying a new crib because I think Jake will still be in the crib come December and his is a drop side, so I'll just convert it to the toddler bed when that time comes
Well that really sucks. I don't think I can wait until December since the Baby will be 2 months old by then, and I'm not sure I'll be ready to pull Charli out of her crib in a few months.
I think I'm just going to end up buying the one I posted. It's probably safer than the 10 year old hand-me-down crib that I've got now. My other option would be to have the baby sleep in something besides a crib for the first few months and hope I could find another deal like this.
I like it.
