I love Concerts
I just bought tickets to the Reba McIntire ( I know I just butchered that!) and Kelly CLarkson concert. Last year I went to the Keith Urban and Carrie Underwood concert. We got to touch Keith Urban!!! It was great. Boys to Men are coming to the Imperial Palace casino. I want to go that one too. We are starting to get so many good concerts!

I agree, I love going to concerts. Boyz to Men was one of my first concerts ever. I think the singer, Brandy came with them too.

i am waiting on david gray to come back to the states...i saw him last time he was here....3rd row center at the fabulous fox in atl! looove!
I am SO very jealous...LOVE HIM! I didn't get to go see him when he toured with Carrie Underwood b/c I had just had DS---however, being 6 mos. pregnant didn't stop me last May...I usually try to see him once a year...I have seen him three times in concert and all three times were FABULOUS!
He really put on a great show. One of the best ones I've been to.
I'm really surprised at all the bands that are coming to Bham! Coming from Atlanta, I was worried we'd always have to go there for good shows, but not so much now. I've seen NIN, Tool, Foo Fighters and soon to see Stone Temple Pilots here.

Yeah that used to be the case. But seems like we are getting better bands here. I heard on the radio that STP was coming. I would love to go see them but I don't think we could afford the tickets. We did see Velvet Revolver when the came 4 years ago and that show ROCKED! I know that DH would love to see NIN.
We saw Velvet Revolver here too...I'd forgotten that one. We weren't terribly impressed b/c we've seen STP 3 other times. They still rocked tho, come on it's Slash! We wanted to go to the last NIN show in Atl, but couldn't cause we couldn't get off work and it was expensive. When DH bought the STP tix, the extra charges were RIDICULOUS! $35 in added costs. Stupid Ticketmaster. DH is anxiously awaiting Metallica tour announcements. I figure come hell or high water, we're going to see Metallica somewhere.

Your DH and mine would get along great. He LOVES Metallica! He's even gotten me into them. He even preordered their new CD on Amazon and he should be getting it by today. He also wishes that Megadeth would reunite because the last time they were supposed play here Dave Mustaine hurt his hand so they had to cancel...and that's one band he would LOVE to see.
DH has already downloaded and memorized the new CD. He's so excited. And he'd be all over Megadeth too. I never was into Metallica or Tool until DH and I started dating. Now, I'm all about some Tool.
