I'm from the DC board but will be in Portland next month. Someone was telling me about this gourmet doughnut shop and I was just wondering if it was worth it. Thanks in advance!

We send everyone to VooDoo. It's in a funky part of town and everyone will ask you to spare a donut instead of "spare any change". There are 3 locations now. I personally like VooDoo 2 because they have a parking lot and a larger store so you dont have to stand as close to people who dont shower. (I know its mean, but pee-ew!)
the maple bar with bacon is good, but I love the peanut butter chocolate or the classic voodoo. We always get a VooDoo Dozen which is 13 randomly selected donuts of heaven :-)
Definitely a must! I have been going there since high school, and love the Captain Crunch and Oreo doughnuts.
In fact, I'm taking family member there this weekend!
