LuvNMarriage

OMG!  Your rant about work is exactly like my situation too.  I am not saying anything...you know that don't look a gift horse in the mouth.  Is that even the right analogy?

Anyway, I have nothing to do now, and if it weren't for a little Kodak photo book project that I can do while at my desk, I really don't know what to do all day.

I sit here at my desk with some workpapers spread out but I don't touch them for hours.  I nest, facebook, myspace, and fiddle with other personal things on the computer.  I don't dare ask for things to do.  We have weekly meetings and I know we have lots of projects, I even have a list of things to do in a certain order, but my boss is slow to get me the info I'm supposed to be working on.  (nice run-on sentence)

I guess I could read a good book.  Or catch up on tax publications....Yeah Right!  Are you nuts!  LOL!

Re: LuvNMarriage

  • OMG, I know!  But then I get mad when people don't e-mail or facebook me back because God forbid everyone else has actual work to do!  I so could not bring out a book but there is only so much you can look up on the internet!

  • I hear ya!  It's as if it's better to be looking at your monitor and typing (even tho its on the internet) than reading a book or something.  They walk by my office all day long but I guess they have no clue what I'm working or on lack thereof.

Are there books on the computer (vs on tape) or crosswords online?  LOL!

I totally know what you mean too about emails and facebook.  I'm prolly ticking off my bro, as I keep texting him to email me.  LOL!!!!

  • Here's a link for Sudoku http://www.sudoku.name/ and I am pretty sure the newspapers online might have the crosswords.  I have wondered about books online, too!

  • I've been holding off on trying sudoku...thinking I'll get hook and start dreaming about numbers.  Ha!  Just a thing for me to do!  Do you like it?
  • Yeah I like it but haven't done it in a while because everyone who walks past me (behind me) sees my computer screen.  I find it much easier to click off e-mail or facebook than Sudoku ;)
