Brooks & Dunn concert!

Brooks & Dunn will be at the Ford Center August 20th, so I'm getting tickets for my sister and I when they go on sale tomorrow morning!  DH doesn't really want to go, so we're buying my sister's ticket as part of her birthday present (it's Aug. 10) and making it a girl's night---she's sooo excited!!!! Anyone else planning on going?

Doubt I'll go, but don't they like hate each other now..? Boy would that make for an awkward tour.

Sounds fun! My sister's birthday is August 19...but she wants to go to Medieval Times in Dallas instead of going to a concert. :P

From my understanding Ronnie, is very ill. That is supposedly why they are calling it quits, not because they hate each other. When they were here in San Diego last fall, they had an abulance back stage all night...the news reported that it was for Ronnie and that he wasn't well. But I am not 100 % on that...

I haven't heard anything about them hating each other or about Ronnie being ill, I've just assumed/heard they were retiring so they'd have more time with their families.  If that's true about Ronnie, that's really sad....hopefully that's just a rumor.

I LOVE Brooks and Dunn. I went to a concert they put on in Stillwater several years ago, and it's still the best concert I've ever been to! I didn't know they were coming to Oklahoma again - they were just in Tulsa in May.

I haven't heard anything about them hating each other or Ronnie being sick. The way I understood it and from what I've seen on TV with interviews and whatnot, they're just going their own seperate ways. No hard feelings. Still buds. But the time has come for them to do their own thing.

Me too!  They do put on a great show.  I've seen them twice, and I think they put on one of the best concerts.  Have fun!
