AW: We are finally homeowners!
I still can't believe it but after 122 days into our short sale purchase, we are finally homeowners! Escrow closed yesterday! We starting looking for houses in Nov. 2009.
For the first time in a while, I shed a few tears of joy on my way to get the keys last night. I feel like my dreams are finally coming true... I have a wonderful husband, baby on the way and house I can call my own!
I am bursting at the seems with excitement so I had to share.

I have them but they are super scary because the seller's left the house in bad condition. We are taking the next 45 days to re-do flooring, paint, windows, electrical, etc. Not to mention they took the stove and some other appliances that we have to replace. As soon as I have it in move it shape, I will post some before and after pictures so you all can see. We are going to try and be moved in by August 31st.

It's almost better you have to replace so much first (well apart from the expense of course!) It's all done and out of the way before you move in, and you get to make choices that are truly yours! Have fun, and definitely post pics when you move in!
