what to use on mold/mildew in the bathroom?

I've tried squirting straight vinegar, letting it stand then putting on baking soda, letting it stand. Then elbow grease. Nothing.

that's pretty much my bag of tricks so if there are any suggestions I'm all ears.

Re: what to use on mold/mildew in the bathroom?

  • Maybe some baking soda and then vinegar, or borax? You could also try hydrogen peroxide...

  • I feel like I have tried everything: BS & vinegar, TTO, straight vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, combinations of these as well as various commercial eco-friendly cleaners.  Nothing has worked well.  I have had to resort to a bleach solution on several occasions.

  • I'm still using bleach too.  I really hope someone has a good idea for us.

  • I actually had to pull out the caulk that was in the corners of the tubs last night because nothing was working for me.  It looks so much better but used a vinegar solution to make sure that the areas were as sanitized as I could get them.
  • I have been using this with huge success.
